Minister & Staff
Michael Farris - Pulpit Minister
Michael Farris has taught and preached the Good News of Our Lord for the past 17 years. He is the 3rd of three sons in a family of preachers, (including his older brother, father, grandfather, uncles & cousins). He and his wife Terre presently live in Rome, GA.
He has served in Mission Work in the Republic of South Africa where he did Campaign work in East London in an area on the Indian Ocean coast. While there, he was a guest speaker and teacher on the Southern Africa Bible College Lectureship just outside Johannesburg in the city of Benoni.
His passion for sharing the Gospel Message has opened doors of opportunity to speak on Seminars, Gospel Meetings, Vacation Bible Schools, Youth Rallies, and Camps throughout the United States as well.
He received his education from Heritage Christian University in Florence, Alabama. While yearning to edify the saints, most lessons are enhanced by the theme of Christian Apologetics.
He holds a weekly Radio Bible program as an extended effort to reach the lost for Christ. His hobbies include skydiving, skateboarding, and other such interests, all used in unique ways to evangelize for Christ.
Vocationally, Michael believes in God‘s Word as the sole source of religious authority that “thoroughly furnishes” the child of God “to every good work” 2 Tim.3:16-17. Michael's preaching style is both loving with powerful conviction to motivate spiritual growth among the body of Christ - while conveying the appealing nature of God's message to those outside of Christian fellowship. As a minister, he believes it is his personal obligation to provide biblical, relevant, and easily-applied life-changing messages to modern humankind. To this end, nothing short of biblical truth in love will suffice.
