Acts Of Random Kindness

Matthew 25:34-36
34 'Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

Here is a chance for everyone to help some one in need, or simply show a moment of kindness to someone, and give GOD the glory while doing it. Oak Hill members will hand out the cards above as they do good deeds in the community.

Here are a few examples of things we can do to practice "Acts of Random Kindness."
  •  Have others into your home and feed them.
  • Offer a drink to someone who is thirsty.
  • Provide housing for someone in need.
  • Give away clothes.
  • Go to a hospital or jail and visit someone.
  • Bake cookies and take them to a neighbor or co-worker.
  • Send flowers to someone.
  • Offer to baby-sit for free.
  • Pay for someone's coffee who's behind you in the drive-thru at Starbucks or a meal at a fast-food drive thru.
  • Send a note of encouragement.
  • Give another driver your parking spot.
  • Do something special for your postman.
  • Leave a large tip for your waiter or waitress.

These are just a few of the things that you could do, the possibilities  are endless. So take hold of this great opportunity to be kind to the people you encounter on a daily basis.
